Season ended write up

Well another season of fantasywakeboarding has come to a conclusion. 276 teams saddled up to play in 2007. FWB chose 17 tournaments to use starting back in April and ended this past November with the IWSF Worlds. It was the closest battle we’ve had to date with Team Spicoli taking the title by 311 points. In fact only 1,000 pts separated 1st through 7th in the prize league. In the end it was Jeff Mackie, of Ontario, Canada, who scored 28,980 to win. Not only did Jeff Mackie win the overall leaderboard but he also won the private wakeworld conference and he did it with a different team, nice work! The winner of the free league was H:>W:>C:> with 23,225 FWB points.

Phillip Soven absolutely dominated in FWB points as expected since he dominated the entire pro season. He scored 6198. Next closest was Rusty Malinowski with 4483. Amber Wing edged out Dallas 1358 to 1292. A first FWB season title for Amber since fantasy watersports inception in 2001. One final stat is that Team West Rider was the only player to win more than one FWB stop.

More to come on the season

wake4fun wins Tige Proam

If Phillip Soven is not on your team, odds are you are not in the top ten, but kudos if you are. Soven and Friday won again at the Tige Proam.

Team Spicoli came from 3rd place to take the lead with just 2 stops left. The race for Hyperlite gear is so close its not even funny. 670 points seperates 1st thru 5th.

Next up is the Worlds

Tige Proam up next!

The season battle is as tight as it can get with just 3 stops left...next up the Tige Proam
